The Year In Review
2021 - 2022 Accomplishments

Over the past year, people have asked about what all The Committee of 101 organization and the Executive Board do during the year. As we begin a new athletic year working with the University of Kentucky this is a good time to announce a Year in Review so everyone can see many of the things we accomplished during the 2021-22 athletic year.
o Provided ushers, greeters, ticket scanners and parking attendants at seven (7) home football games during September through November.
o Provided ushers and greeters at twenty-two (22) men’s basketball games at Rupp Arena October through March.
o Provided ushers and greeters at two (2) women’s basketball games at Rupp Arena in December and January.
o Provided ushers and greeters at one (1) women’s gymnastics meet held at Rupp Arena in January.
o Provided ushers for twelve (12) concerts at Rupp Arena (September through March)
o Eric Church, Jason Aldeen, Lauren Daigle, JoJo Siwa, Snoop Dog, Morgan Wallen (3 concerts), Reba McEntire, Gabriel Fluffy Iglesias, Katt Williams, and Elton John
o Provided ushers and ticket scanners at the KHSAA Kentucky High School Football Championships at Kroger Field (2 days) in December.
o Provided ushers at the KHSAA Kentucky High School Girls Sweet 16 Basketball Championships at Rupp Arena (4 days) in March.
o Provided ushers at the KHSAA Kentucky High School Boys Sweet 16 Basketball Championships at Rupp Arena (4 days) in March.
o Provided ushers at the UK Spring Football game in March.
o Provided ushers, greeters and ticket scanners at the Chris Stapleton, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow concert at Kroger Field in April.
o Provided workers for the Land Rover Three Day Event at the Kentucky Horse Park in April.
o Held the Annual Coach Joe B. Hall Committee of 101 Golf Scramble and Dinner in June at the University Club in Lexington.
o Several 101 members worked at the Barbasol Golf Tournament in July.
o Provided 101 members with the opportunity to purchase commemorative UK Football Bowl Game pins celebrating four recent bowl victories.
o Provided 101 members with the opportunity to purchase commemorative 101 rings.
o Recognized our members at the annual Member-Guest Dinner in January at the Central Bank Center in Lexington.
o Launched The Committee of 101 website at www.thecommitteeof101.org in March.
o Launched The Blue Coat, the first Committee of 101 Newsletter.
o Welcomed thirty-four (34) new members in the fall of 2021.
o Celebrated several members who reached the 40- and 50-year membership status.
o Initiated several new recruiting initiatives with the creation of a new 101 banner, a new membership application packet, and Committee of 101 business cards.
o Donated to the Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund in December.
o Donated to the Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief Fund in August.
o Donated $60,000 to UK Olympic Sports teams as follows:
o $10,000 to the UK Volleyball Team
o $5,00 to the UK Cross Country Team, Men’s Golf Team, Women’s Golf Team, Rifle Team, Men’s Soccer Team, Swimming and Diving Team, Gymnastics Team, Track and Field Team, and Women’s Soccer Team.
o $2,500 to the UK Cheerleaders and UK Dance Team
